Making Tax Digital – 1st April 2019

08/03/2019

The governments Making Tax Digital (MTD) scheme comes into force on the 1st April 2019 for any VAT registered businesses with a taxable turnover of over £85,000.

What does this mean for your business? Well your first VAT quarter starting after this date will need to be filed using HMRC approved software, such as Xero, Sage Business Cloud, or QuickBooks Online.

However that doesn’t need to mean no more spreadsheets, as we can provide alternative solutions to keep your business linked with HMRC and meet all filing requirements.

If you have any questions or need any assistance in respect of MTD, feel free to contact a member of the CBHC team.

For tailored advice on how to best manage your personal and business finances, get in touch with us today and find out about how CBHC can help you do more with your money.
